Playoff pairings

These are, of course, subject to change for no reason at all by the folks at the NCHSAA:

2A Girls

Southern Vance - Earned the three seed out of the Northern Carolina Conference and will visit Greene Central, the No. 2 seed from the Eastern Plains 2A, Tuesday night. (Maybe my good friend Bryan Hanks can hook us up). A win would send the Lady Raiders to Graham or put them at home against Farmville Central.

Warren County - The Eagles are the No. 4 seed from the NCC and will also make the trek into Kinston Free Press territory to play North Lenoir, the EPC champions, on Tuesday. A victory would set another another road date with either Orange or Tarboro.

2A Boys

Southern Vance - Won the top seed out of the NCC with Friday's win over Bunn. The Runnin' Raiders will host Winston-Salem Atkins, the four seed from the North State, on Monday. A win by Southern would mean another home game against McMichael or Graham.

Warren County - The Eagles got the four seed from the NCC and will travel to North Pitt Monday to take on the second seed from the EPC. The second round would mean a trip to Burlington Cummings or a home game with Tarboro.

3A Boys

Northern Vance - The Vikings are the two seed from the Mid-State and will host the third seed from the Triad, Bartlett-Yancey, Monday night. Should Northern advance, it will either play at Southern Lee or at home against SW Edgecombe on Wednesday.

J.F. Webb - The Warriors are a No. 3 seed from the MSC and will make the trip to Harnett Central to play the Cape Fear Valley's No. 2 seed on Monday. A win would set up either a road game at Nash Central or a home date with Western Harnett.
