Voting has closed for the Associated Press All-State team, and although the team isn't out yet, here's how my ballot looked:

how do you know which players to choose?

I've seen some of them, which helps, and the ballot that was sent out a week before the voting contained stats and other important information.

Linemen are the hardest to pick, since the average fan or sportswriter doesn't always know how to effectively evaluate them. I usually go with the Shrine Bowl selections on the interior line. Heck, if they're good enough for high school football coaches, they're good enough for me.
